Candyland Birthday!
We came towards the end so the cake was already half gone, but you can tell how much work went into it all. Every bite was a super sugar rush that was delicious. There were also personalized bags for the kids to put all their goodies in. While the bigger kids were opening up presents we followed the colored squares and went through all the games that were set up and collected candy. It was absolutely adorable and so creative! She is my inspiration.
Carter of course wanted his "present" all day and all the next day, but the present had to disappear eventually, but not before he got to try the big sucker. He totally posed for the picture with his tongue out until the camera took the shot. What a ham!
We ended off the day by going to Mike's Jenson grandparents 60th wedding anniversary party! All of their kids were able to come make the trip, and it was so good to see them. It's amazing how hard it is to visit your relatives, even though they are so close. We need to do better, but we love you Grandma & Grandpa!

What an amazing birthday party--and what a cute baby girl name :). Your little Carter is getting so big and oh my, very soon he's going to be the big brother!
