Drum roll please....We are having a
GIRL!!!

Sadly we didn't get the best of ultrasound pics because she is facing with her head down towards my back, but it was so fun to see her! (we'll post the pics later when we can get them to look clearer.) It took a bit to know the gender for sure because she just had her little legs were tucked in close, but with lots of persuasion we finally got a clear shot. Mike, Carter, and Cheri were able to be in the room and Carter did pretty good. He said "Hooray" when we told him it was girl, and he tried to say "sister". We feel better about him being a good big brother since he was SUPER cute with little Tyler on Monday night. He kept giving him soft kisses and trying to give him the bottle or a hat. He even wanted to hold him so with lots of assistance he just put his arm around him and snuggled his head with Tyler's little one. It was so adorable!

The ultrasound said that my due date is October 22nd since she is only measuring 18 weeks instead of 20, but the doc is having me doing another ultrasound in a month to check on growth before they move the due date back. We're excited to be able to see her again, and maybe we'll get some better pictures.

BTW, the poll was exactly equal between who thought it would be a girl vs a boy. We would have been happy with either, but we are definitely excited to have our little girl come.

So this Wednesday morning is the day we've been waiting for...the ULTRASOUND!! Hopefully our little munchkin will cooperate and we'll be able to know for sure what he/she is. We'd like to know your guess so take a vote on the right hand side. We'll keep you posted!

We'd like to introduce you to our newest nephew, and on Mike's side his FIRST nephew
TYLER RICHARDS JENSON
We were so surprised to get a text from Dan on Saturday morning saying that they were at the hospital and he was coming soon! He must have been itching to get here because he came a month early at 11:22 am, but he is a healthy beautiful baby boy at 5 pounds 10 ounces and 19 inches long! Richards is Analise's maiden name and it fits so well with Tyler. It was so wonderful to come home from Hawaii and be welcomed by this cutie. Right when we walked into the hospital room our little developing munchkin started moving  A TON! Practically everyone in the room could feel him/her doing somersaults in excitement of seeing Tyler. It was a precious moment. We are so happy for our new addition to our family and Carter thought he was pretty cute too. Maybe Tyler can help break him to having a little baby around all the time. :-)

HAPPY WEDNESDAY!!!

Why are we so happy today at the Jenson house?? It's because Mike took his last final EVER!!! Luckily this semester he only had 2 classes with finals and one was last week, and the last one was this morning at 8am. It was a tough one, but he's passing the class with flying colors and he never has to think about taking another test! There is still work to be done on the baja so he had to cut some parts after the final, but he ended his college education with the semester ritual of eating at The Pie with the guys that have been enduring the same hard road along with him. The Pie has the yummiest, cheesiest, and greasiest pizza, and it's worth every calorie. ;-) Congrats Mikey on making it through 5 grueling years! Here's to much success in the future!

Last night after our haircuts we went out with Kelly and James to Litza's Pizza...super yummy, and then to a new frozen yogurt place in the Gateway. It's supposedly similar to Frogurt where you can get what you want and pay for how much you get. It was really delicious and they had all sorts of flavors, like Rootbeer Float, Peanut Butter...too many good ones to list. Anyway, the weather was SUPER WINDY AND WET so we waited inside while the boys brought the car around. While we waited, Carter saw the orange cone and wet sign just standing there waiting to be moved. :-) He had so much fun picking up each sign, grunting, and moving it to wherever his little heart desired. It was so funny to watch that we wanted to share it with you. These first two videos he thought were so HEAVY since he was grunting and sticking out his tongue and breathing hard.

Then after awhile they were a piece of cake and not heavy anymore. Funny boy!

Our little family was in much need of haircuts, so today we had our great friend Kelly take care of us. Man, do we look so much better! ;-) Kelly had "a plan" for Christina's hair, and even though it turned out a little blonder than planned, she loves it! It's a great change and all the layers are perfect. She'll especially look good when she comes back with a tan from Hawaii next week.

Carter always does super good when getting his hair cut. He sits perfectly still for Kelly while she buzzes and trims. His first haircut was when he was like 4 or 5 months old. This makes number....who knows! This is probably the longest we let it grow though. He just looks good with any length of hair.
