One Month Old!

Sadie has been apart of our lives for 1 month already and we can't imagine our lives without her! She's so sweet and the kids absolutely love her. Since my parents were in town we got permission to have her baby blessing yesterday. Mike gave her a wonderful blessing with many notes of her being spiritually strong and a light to others in the gospel. It was so wonderful to have so many friends and family apart of the special day. Sadie was a perfect angel, and happily slept while being passed from person to person.  :-) .

Let's go fly a kite

My parents are in town, so we went to  Liberty park with Sarah's kids. We'd never been there before but it is a fun park! The cutest thing was that Grandpa Habel taught Carter to fly a kite and Carter became a pro really quick. He even got it out from being tangled in a tree. It's so fun to see him learning and growing.

Carter turned 5!!

Our sweet boy is growing up so fast! On 7-11 Carter turned 5. He started the day off with his special cereal that he picked it with me the night before (a Habel tradition). Then he opened his clothes present  and we enjoyed a relaxing morning with the same question every 10 minutes or so..."when is my party going to start?  :-) For lunch we got a slurpee and a lunchable and ate it at the park, then finally the party got started around 4, after the large blow up crawl through plane came. The weather was a bit rainy but it didn't bother the kids. they even figured out how to climb on top of the plane. So with the plane, a Transformer cake, TMNT pinata, and a pajama party Carter said it was his best birthday ever!

2 week stats & fireworks

Well or little Sadie continues to be our smallest child yet. Her stats for her two week appointment last Friday were:
Weight- 7.39 lbs - 23%
Height- 20.12 inches - 45%
Head- 13.4 inches - 10%
I don't usually care about the head one but she is so small on the scale I had to put it on. Her head though seems just right for her little body. It will be extra fun to see her grow. Her eyes are already starting to focus more, and we've seen quite a few smiles.

She did great at the firework show in Sandy, and we had the perfect seats. I also took the kids to Riverton days. It was hot, but they had a fun hay dive thing. Savi was too scared to get anything with the crowd of kids but Carter scored enough for both of them.

We also took Sadie to the cabin on Saturday for get first real visit! She did great and just enjoyed sleeping and relaxing like the rest of us.

Before Sadie came

The week before Sadie came we were watching Sarah's 4 youngest kids. She said they'd put me onto labor, and I guess she was right.  ;-) We had a fun week of swimming, park hopping, relaxing, and going to the Bee's game for my company work party. As always it was fun to have them around so I'm glad Sadie didn't come until the last day when they were going home anyway. You could tell Annie and Ella are pros at holding babies.  :-)

Coming home from the hospital

The delivery and recovery of number 3 has been much better than the first two. The worse part was how tired I was since we didn't get hardly any sleep before she was born. Sadie always seemed hungry so the nurses kept bringing her back in, but she just kept falling asleep no matter how much I kept bugging her. Finally the last night one nurse took pity on me and kept her for a couple of hours at a time which was so nice! Right before we were to head home I found out that my parents had made it to my house already so it was great to have them here for a couple of days. We put Sadie into the same take home outfit as Savannah so I'll have to find a picture and do a comparison.
