We are anxious to post this blog today
Cause exciting changes are coming our way.
When we found out we cried, “Oh my!”
Cause we’ll be PARENTS in July!!

Yes, the rumors are true! We are expecting a little Jenson to bless our lives in July. We found out late Thursday night, but we had to wait until Sunday night to tell our families. It was killing us to wait! We read a poem very similar to the one above to our families to surprise them with the news. It was actually Dan Jenson's birthday, but he told us that was the best the present to find out that he is going to be an Uncle.

This baby to come is the first on the Jenson side and like number 27 for the Habels. We are still in unbelief because Christina hasn't had any symptoms yet, which she is extremely grateful for, but we are just so excited. Mike's sister Angela said she totally knew that we were even before we told everyone. She almost asked us on Friday, but luckily she didn't because we don't know what we would have done. :-)

July seems like the perfect time because of Mike being out of school, and Christina's mom will actually be in Montana that whole month so she'll be a lot closer to come down and help.

We are overwhelmed with joy and thanksgiving for the many blessings that our Heavenly Father has given us. We're not sure if we can be great parents, but we both have the best examples to go by.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

What a fun time a year this is! We have been staying busy with carving pumpkins, painting our faces, making chili, and putting our hands in dirty diapers. :-) We hope that you enjoyed your Halloween.

Christina's YW girls carved pumpkins for their activity on the 24th. They had fun getting their hands dirty and scaring the leaders with the knives while they carved some good lookin' pumpkins.

On Sunday we went over to Mike's parents house and did some more carving. It always seems hard to want to carve pumpkins, but once you start you realize how much fun it is!

Then of course our Halloween couldn't be complete without going to the annual Halloween party at Mike's aunt and uncle Elaine & Mike Robson's. There were so many great costumes and fun activities, and disgustingly - yet delicious food, that we love going every year.

Luckily we got some half decent pictures of Mike doing a "Scare" by putting his hand in a dirty diaper. Christina told him that it's good practice. ;-) He was pretty convinced that the apple sauce was really...well, you know what.

The last couple of years we've been slackers and we haven't dressed up, but this year we made an effort and we wore the true colors of our marriage -
BYU Blue and U of U Red!!

On Halloween night we went over to Mike's parents' house and had a fun mystery dinner with squiggly little worms, vampires delight, slippery slim, flakey skin, and other spooky foods.

Mike's family had fabulous costumes too! We especially loved Steve's costume of the main singer Ed Roland from our favorite band Collective Soul.

We had a fabulous Halloween and we hope that you did too. If you want to enjoy more pictures click on the web albums on the right. Also, here is a fun link to some Halloween Hangman. It's totally addicting and fun! Enjoy!

We got to go one last time down to beautiful southern Utah! U of U had a week off for Fall break, so we took off on Thursday morning and drove for quite awhile before we found a great camping spot in Capitol Reef National Park.

Christina's 13 year old nephew, Jacob (Yasha), and her Russian friend, Dennis came along for the trip as well. They added a fun addition to our usual camping crew.
It was a short trip because we came back on Saturday night, but it was nice and relaxing. We did a few hikes and enjoyed just sitting around the fire.

The cool thing about the hikes that we went on was the crazy forms and holes that the water and weather made. We found some fun places to relax and enjoy the beauty.

Wow, it's been awhile since we've updated our blog! Time has just gone too fast! We've pretty much been up to the same old things: cabin, school, work, and cabin. Since we've got the majority of the cabin done we've been able to go up and just relax and enjoy. It's been fabulous! The boys have gone biking, and we've gone on some hikes and tote gote rides around the cabin that we've never had time to explore.

Of course we haven't just played all day since there is always more to do to make the cabin even nicer. First, we put on a new metal roof on the old, nasty outhouse so even though it still wreaks of 30 years of you know what, at least you won't get wet when you go! :-)

Mike, Steve Conrad, and Dan also did an awesome job installing outlets outside. Finally! We're so excited to have a flood light and outlets outside.
