Mike and his brother Dan and their Dad got a ton done at the cabin this weekend! We have to wait to finish the cabin until it's warmer because our next big steps are to putty, sand, and paint, which doesn't go over well in freezing temperatures. There were a few things in the cabin that were bugging us and this weekend they got them done.

First off, they finished the wood upstairs and installed the lights.

They also finished a few wood pieces above the doors and windows. It was just the little things that were buggin' so it's great that they got it all taken care of.

Finishing up with those little projects means that we could finally put the saw away so we don't have to create messes like this anymore.

Now it is so much more clean and open. Yeah!!

It was kind of sad that they worked more than they played because it snowed a ton and the powder and weather was beautiful! Check out these pictures!

So it's been awhile...sorry. February flew by before we knew it! Mike has been extremely busy between school and his new internship as a drafter at EFI Electronics. He is learning a lot of crucial things about drafting and the engineering design programs, which will definitely help him in the future. Christina is still trucking away at Lightstream Communications and is enjoying her calling in the Young Women's Presidency. She wished that there was more than one active girl in the ward, but she can't complain.

We really haven't been up to anything too exciting. The pictures we want to share with you today are of a snowmobiling trip we took a few weeks back. It was a beautiful and perfect day up in the mountains. Mike's mom, Cheri, came with us for the first time this season. She did a great job at driving the snowmobiles! It was also the first time that Mike had seen his Dad ride on the BACK of a snowmobile.

Christina had a fun time testing out the power of the machines, and she let quite a few screams out as she jumped over mounds and came up on sharp drop offs. Mike and his Dad of course are naturals and they took us on some fun routes.
