What a perfect snowmobiling weekend we had! It was truly amazing! We came up to the cabin late Friday night, but the weather even then was warmer than expected and calm. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw how much snow had piled up since the last time. There is a solid 11 feet of snow at the cabin!

The electric wire was just barely over Christina's head, and we could even touch the top window of the cabin from standing on the snow!! The outhouse was almost completely buried. The next day was the best kind of day for snowmobiling because the sun was shining and we didn't freeze as we cruised 30-40 mph all through the mountains. Our little boy is definitely going to love snowmobiling and the cabin!

Mikey: "Well they tell you not to eat yellow snow,
but what about brown?"

Happy Birthday to Kyle and Grandpa Jenson!!!

Kyle turned 36 on Saturday, February 23rd and we celebrated by going out to eat at Famous Dave's and getting extra full with the a whole trash can lid full of great food. Then we came back and played with Sarah's kids in our apartment, before we filled up again on chocolaty cake.

Then on Sunday Grandpa Jenson turned 83 years young, and we had a fantastic birthday bash at Elaine's house. It's always great to see everyone together.

5 month mark! Christina has reached her 20 weeks into the pregnancy today. We can't believe how fast the time has gone, but we know that the biggest changes are yet to come. Christina hasn't gained too many pounds, but the tummy is definitely there!

For Valentine's Day Mike bought Christina her first pregnant shirt (the one in the picture), and we're sure it won't take long to fill in the shirt even more.

The results are in...WE'RE HAVING A BOY!!!! The technician was so sure that she said if they give you a girl don't take it because it's not ours. :-) Here are the ultrasound pictures. (Sorry if they're not the best quality, but if you click on the picture itself you can see it better.)

Top Left: His little legs are crossed with his hand by knees just chillin'.
Right side: Pictures that say he for sure is a little boy.

Left Side: Some more profile shots of his cute little face.
Right Top: Kind of a full body view. Bottom Right: His heart rate.

It was such an amazing experience to be able to see our little boy! We can't even believe how small yet functional he already is. Christina hasn't felt him very much, but we were able to see him move in the ultrasound. One of the best things to find out was that he is completely healthy in all aspects of development. That was such a relief and comfort to hear. We just continue to pray that he will be able to continue to grow healthy and strong.

We really thought that we were going to have a girl so we only have one boy name that we like so far. We're not sure if it is "the name," but Connor Michael is definitely on the list of possibilities.

LET IT SNOW!!!

We have really been hit with snow lately and it looks like it's not going to let up for awhile. We're kind of sick of all the snow in the valley, but we love it up in the mountains! The snow is MUCH deeper than it has been for the last year or two.

We decided to leave the oldest of the 3 snowmobiles up at the cabin, and maybe that wasn't such a great idea. It takes us so long to find it and then dig it out that maybe isn't worth it.

Our favorite place!
