Last night after our haircuts we went out with Kelly and James to Litza's Pizza...super yummy, and then to a new frozen yogurt place in the Gateway. It's supposedly similar to Frogurt where you can get what you want and pay for how much you get. It was really delicious and they had all sorts of flavors, like Rootbeer Float, Peanut Butter...too many good ones to list. Anyway, the weather was SUPER WINDY AND WET so we waited inside while the boys brought the car around. While we waited, Carter saw the orange cone and wet sign just standing there waiting to be moved. :-) He had so much fun picking up each sign, grunting, and moving it to wherever his little heart desired. It was so funny to watch that we wanted to share it with you. These first two videos he thought were so HEAVY since he was grunting and sticking out his tongue and breathing hard.

Then after awhile they were a piece of cake and not heavy anymore. Funny boy!

Our little family was in much need of haircuts, so today we had our great friend Kelly take care of us. Man, do we look so much better! ;-) Kelly had "a plan" for Christina's hair, and even though it turned out a little blonder than planned, she loves it! It's a great change and all the layers are perfect. She'll especially look good when she comes back with a tan from Hawaii next week.

Carter always does super good when getting his hair cut. He sits perfectly still for Kelly while she buzzes and trims. His first haircut was when he was like 4 or 5 months old. This makes number....who knows! This is probably the longest we let it grow though. He just looks good with any length of hair.

4 MONTHS! The first trimester always seems to go by quick, mostly because nothing new seems to be happening. I'm one of the lucky ones that doesn't get really sick in the first trimester, although this time I did have a couple of weeks where I didn't feel great. Not enough to throw up, but just feeling like it all day long. It was hard not to tell anyone at work, but after I did announce my pregnancy some of the guys that work close to my office said that they noticed I didn't look like I felt great. So, here we are 4 months later and I've got my little baby bump started. I hope I don't gain as much weight this time around, but time will tell. I think I've felt the baby at least once for sure...I went to bed REALLY late one night and could feel some fluttering. :-) I haven't really felt the baby since, but I also haven't had time to really focus and see if I can. So the next big question is WHAT ARE WE HAVING?! We can't wait to find out, but unfortunately we'll have to. We could have had an ultrasound on the 12th of May, but we'll be living on the beach, and then the next week Mike is gone for his competition. So May 26th at 8:30 am is the exciting day. We'll keep you posted!

Analise's Baby Shower
We had yet another fantastic and busy Saturday. The morning started off with our Service Scavenger Race for our ward that a whole 15 people showed up for. It was a small crowd, but we got some great service done at a couple of homes. Then we were able to come home and get ready for Analise's baby shower. Her sister Katilyn drove from CA to be here and she did a ton of work! She made this beautiful diaper cake for her and got the best food.
It was so fun to have all the family and friends show up, especailly since half of them had been at another baby shower that morning for our cousin, Amy Vickers. She is also having a boy and will be induced on May 4th unless he comes by himself.

Though our kitchen feels huge when it's just the 3 of us, it definitely shrinks when you put 20-25 people in there. We were all comfy cozy for the baby games of
baby word scramble, How Big Is Her Belly?, and the Price Is Right.

Of course the best part of the party was the presents, and she scored on the loot for this little guy! He will be well dressed for months to come! She also received a great baby book, and bedding for her crib to come, as well as a great pack and play from her family.

By the way, we had about 4-5 pregnant women there at the same time! Half with our first and half with our second. It always seems like everyone is pregnant, doesn't it? Thanks again for everyone who came and we're so excited excited to meet grandbaby Jenson #2! Hurry up!! :-) You've got a great family to come and join (see below)

Here is the gearbox that Mike's team redesigned, and the last main thing they have to complete for their baja. Mike created this 3D exploded view to show all the parts. (click on the pic to really see all the detail) He's so talented!

Design Day
Yeah! We finally got to see the baja that Mike has been working on for two semesters. Today was the day that all the senior design projects were on display. Mike's team was by far the coolest project their. The car might not have been painted yet, but it looked AWESOME! Mike worked on designing the chassis (the frame), but he also put in a lot of effort and work to other elements. Besides painting they still need to get their new design of the gear box on, but hopefully that will go quick and they can just have fun "testing" it.

It was from 9-3 today and quite a few friends and family were able to come out to support it so thank you! It was fun for Mike to be able to show everyone what he's been working on, and Carter thought it was pretty fun to drive too.

Unfortunately it was too loud to actually drive it around in the union center, but when it was all over they fired it right up and drove it up the stairs and out the front door! It was so awesome to see!
