GIRL!!!
Sadly we didn't get the best of ultrasound pics because she is facing with her head down towards my back, but it was so fun to see her! (we'll post the pics later when we can get them to look clearer.) It took a bit to know the gender for sure because she just had her little legs were tucked in close, but with lots of persuasion we finally got a clear shot. Mike, Carter, and Cheri were able to be in the room and Carter did pretty good. He said "Hooray" when we told him it was girl, and he tried to say "sister". We feel better about him being a good big brother since he was SUPER cute with little Tyler on Monday night. He kept giving him soft kisses and trying to give him the bottle or a hat. He even wanted to hold him so with lots of assistance he just put his arm around him and snuggled his head with Tyler's little one. It was so adorable!
The ultrasound said that my due date is October 22nd since she is only measuring 18 weeks instead of 20, but the doc is having me doing another ultrasound in a month to check on growth before they move the due date back. We're excited to be able to see her again, and maybe we'll get some better pictures.
BTW, the poll was exactly equal between who thought it would be a girl vs a boy. We would have been happy with either, but we are definitely excited to have our little girl come.

I'm so unbelievably happy for the three of you...Carter will be an amazing big brother! Spoil her rotten, Mike...I'm a daddy's girl, and very little in my life is as precious to me than that. Love you guys...mwah!
Congratulations. Isn't it great knowing?!?!! I love having a boy and girl because I know for sure I get both! But I would have loved another boy too. There are tons of fun clothes out there and if you are into girlie hairbows and such you'll be in for a real treat.
