HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!
To start off 2010 we took Ginger snowmobiling! It was her first time ever, and Christina, Carter, and Cheri's first time of the season. It couldn't have been a more perfect day. The sun was shinny and there wasn't hardly any wind.
We got Carter this new snowsuit just for days like today, and he looks so cute! He cried the entire way up to the cabin, but as soon as we pulled up he was fine. He LOVES the cabin, just the like the rest of the Jenson boys. Christina and him played while everyone took a spin on the snowmobiles. Maybe someday we'll have a few more for people to play on.
After Carter's original protest about being on the snowmobile, he was COMPLETELY fine! He remembered how much he loved being on them, and he knew right what to do to go on a ride. The first time he went was April of last year and he was 9 months old. He has grown so much!

Of course we had to play in the snow and Mike taught Carter how to make snow angels, and to eat snow. Carter liked laying in the snow, but didn't like eating it. He kept trying to take it off his tongue with his snow covered glove. Funny stuff. :-)
Both of the snowmobiles say they should are designed for just 1 person, but we always like to push that number. With Carter getting bigger it's harder for all 3 of us to fit on, but it's totally worth it! There's a lot more room than a tote gote, so why complain? Christina's arms just get really tough for trying to stay hanging on. ;-)

Carter's face after this ride with Mike is priceless...maybe someday we'll be able to get him his own kid snowmobile.

Ginger had the best time ever! She loves speed, snow, and mountains so she quickly fell in love with snowmobiling.
She rocked! She wasn't afraid of to take off and have fun!

Big Rock, as named by the Jenson family, is a tradition to go to almost every time we come up. As Mike climbed on top to pose for a picture, he went to kneel down on the edge, but didn't realize that there was actually no Big Rock under it. :-) He did a face plant in the snow, but luckily there was feet of snow on top of the rocks below to cushion his fall.
Cheri & Terry also tore it up on the machines and everyone just had a great time.
Carter was absolutely perfect on the way back. He such a funny kid and we love all the joy he brings into our lives. Her are just some adorable pictures we took when we got home.
