Happy Halloween
from the Donkey Kong Family!!!

Halloween was our first party at our new house and it turned out great! We had a fondue party with chocolate, caramel, white chocolate, and cheese with TONS of things to dip into them. Thanks to Mike we pulled our costumes off just in time. If you're not familiar with Nintendo games, Mike is Donkey Kong, Carter is Diddie Kong, and Christina is Dixie Kong. It's been fun to dress up as a family, and we'll see if we can keep up the tradition. Not as many people dressed up as we would have hoped, but the ones that did were awesome! It was just a great time to see and visit with everyone, and eat yummy food.



Luke & Michele's little girl, Vivian, was also a Monkey! Without planning! It was fun to see them together.

It took awhile, but we finally made it out our door to take Carter trick-o-treating. We just went through our circle since we wanted to get back to our guests, but Carter got the hang of picking out candy pretty quick. Since we were towards the end of the night, Carter scored pretty well. :-) Thanks to everyone who came and helped. We think that a Halloween fondue party will be our holiday so hopefully we'll be able to see you next year!
