HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

Welcome 2009! It truly is amazing how fast a year goes when you look back. We had a wonderful time in 2008 and we're excited for the new adventures of 2009. We spent the night partying with the parents and Angela & Steve. The theme was a pj party so we were way comfy all night. Cheri made a wonderful steak dinner and then we watched Mama Mia while we ate puppy chow.

Carter feel asleep during the movie, but then he heard the noises makers from Andy and Brennar and he woke up. Which was perfect because then he was awake for the New Year! Christina wrapped him way warm and went out so they could both watch the fireworks that the boys set off. Carter didn't have much expression, but he did great just chilling outside with everyone.

Some of things that we happened to us in 2008 were: *We moved into Santa Fe apts. *We had a blast snowmobiling and snowboarding *We found out we were expecting a boy, not a girl *We went down to southern Utah and Mike's mom came too *We had Taiwan friends come and visit *The engine blew in the truck *Christina learned how to make jam *Mike rebuilt his parents' bathroom *We had southern family visit *We had beautiful and perfect baby boy *We had 3 other nephews born in 2008 *Every holiday was that much cooler because we have Carter *Mike finished 2 more semesters of school!

We know that this year will hold challenges, such as school, :) but we know that there are many wonderful things headed out way. It's nice to have the feeling of a "clean slate" so to speak, and we'll do our best to improve ourselves this year.

Hey guys get my blog on your site so your Mom can get into my fam's sites. Not sure how to tell her to do it. Your baby is darling and you guys seem to be enjoying being parents. I have such a special space in my heart for your Mom and her family. When have been friends for 37 years. But it seems like a few months. You are blessed for having her a mother. Love keeping up by these blogs even though I suck at it. Again help your Mom keep in contact with my fam.
