We had a fantastic weekend! On Friday we got to go to a Real soccer game with Mike's business. It was our first game and even though we had to leave early to go watch some fireworks, our team was winning and it was a fun time. We enjoyed eating some food and Carter loved to share.
After the game we went and met our friends Chris & Leslie to watch fireworks at Taylorsville Dayzz. They had a FANTASTIC firework show. Chris & Leslie have been going there for a few years now, and this might be a new tradition for us too! :-)

On Saturday we were able to go to the cabin and enjoy everything that it has to offer. We had a great hike with Dan & Analise all the way down to Big Rock. Carter loved to point out things and enjoyed being outside.

On the way back we ran into a little road block. There were tons of trees that crossed the path. As we were manuervering around through the bushes Carter ended up falling asleep. It's so cute when he falls asleep in the backpack carrier.

Of course we also enjoyed a good bike ride or two.

We haven't told you that we got a nice 42' flat screen tv for the cabin! We have definitely loved watching movies there. Carter is cute how he knows the cabin, and as always we enjoyed the fire.

We ended the cabin trip with a major rain storm. It was awesome! Of course Mike had to be out in the middle of it watching the fire. It looked amazing after the down pour.

We also said goodbye to a good friend, Lane Russell, as he left for his 2 year mission to Mexico. His been an awesome friend to Andy. We will miss his humor and smile, but we are so proud of him!

Real games are so fun! My bro-in-law's bro is one of the owners and so bought their family of 8 season tickets. Occasionally we get to cash in on that fun for free. I love the music/dancing section--it reminds me of being in Brazil!

The cabin looks awesome. I'm dying to go back...(we had a fun time last year on Labor Day IN THE SNOW with Lori and Richard) but to be honest the drive up Guardsman pass FREAKS me out!!! I much rather drive around the Park City way but I guess that is the longer way? Anyway, I'm so glad the cabin is in your family's hands now. It looks fantastic and it looks like you guys get SO MUCH fun use out of it! My hubby's parents sold their cabin and it's been really sad because even though I've only been visiting 5 years now I have some of my best memories up there.
