Christina's oldest nephew, Dillon, graduated from High School this weekend! It was crazy to see him walk down in a cap in gown when Christina remembers holding him as a baby!

We are super proud of Dillon and we loved having the privilege of being there to support him. It was a different experience for us since we use graduations of 400+ plus seniors, but at Wells High School the graduating class of 2009 was 20! Dillon was probably the tallest of them all too! ;-)

Julie's has a fantastic family and we love seeing them since we definitely don't get to do it enough. Julie was definitely a proud mom that night and she should be because Dillon received excellent grades and a scholarship. He is planning to continue working hard to save up for his mission that he will go on early next year. When we asked what he wanted for a present he just said money for his mission. What better "kid" could you ask for?! :-) We know that he'll succeed in making his dreams come true.

Sarah's family and seven kids as well as Jana and Kyle were able to come too so we had a fun couple of days with the Rose family!

Carter really hated the grass, until the next day and then he just got use to it. Yeah!

Of course we didn't get to see much of Dillon or Landon that night because there was an all night party going on. So the rest of drove the hour to get home and then crashed from exhaustion. Then next day though was super fun because we got to explore their ranch and Carter got to see his first real live animals. Of course he also loved the 4-wheeler and we had a hard time pulling him away from that. We just had a wonderful, relaxing time with the Roses and we can't wait to come and visit again!!

What a stud!

We finally got to DRIVE up to the cabin, and it was awesome! We already think that the cabin is one of Carter's favorite places. He loves being outdoors and exploring everything. He also absolutely loves the tote gote and dirt bike. He can't get enough of them!

Carter just has so much personality and he is a complete boy! We went 4-wheeling in the jeep and he knew exactly what to do!

So we got Carter some cool shoes from Kid to Kid, but he HATES shoes. This video is funny because he is trying to get them off, but he was also distracted by the fire.

Today is actually Angela's 31st birthday! Since yesterday was Memorial and we all had it off we celebrated it early up at the cabin with yummy KFC chicken and dessert. She got some sweet gifts, a phone, seasons of King of Queens and Gossip Girl. She is the best Aunt for Carter and we love being around her. She can always make us laugh and feel loved and appreciated. We love you Ange!!

Yeah for summer! We started taking advantage of the nice weather and Mike not having homework by going on hikes! We were given this awesome child carrier to "easily" take Carter with us. (Easy for Christina and Carter anyway.) Carter love being outside and he loved riding on Mike's back. Our first hike was just a very short one up to a waterfall in Sandy, but it felt good to get out and the water was amazing!

Carter just recently started making this new noise that just cracks us up. We got him to do it on the hike.

A try at a family photo. :-)

Our second hike up Bell Canyon was a little steeper and longer, but so worth it because it was so beautiful! These pictures are pretty good, but sadly you can never capture the true beauty of everything.
It was the perfect time to hike because it wasn't too hot or cold, there was green everywhere, and there were very few bugs out so it made for a wonderful time!

Carter looks so mad in this first picture because a few moments later he was out! It's a tough job hiking! :-)

He stayed asleep for quite awhile until we came back to the rushing river. Then he was awake and ready to eat some power snacks...chips! Yum!

We love living in such a beautiful state with easy access to such amazing outdoors. We also love bringing Carter with us on our adventures. One of our favorite parts though is always heading home because the views with the sunsets are just breathtaking.
