We came to a bittersweet end on Saturday...the end of our baby showers. We're excited because that means the baby is really close to coming, and we've received such fantastic stuff and help from everyone. But on the flip side, that means the baby is really close to coming and we won't be receiving as many fantastic gifts or playing the Price is Right game anymore. ;-)
This shower was for the Jenson and McElhaney side (Mike's parents.) It was held at his aunt Elaine's beautiful home, and it was such a fun time! We started the party right with yummy food, then we moved on to the Price is Right game. Elaine had white boards for everyone to write down their prices, which was the coolest and easiest idea. Then we had some fun by having everyone guess how wide Christina's belly has become! (That is the measurement around the belly button.) There were a few guesses at 100, 68, 57...but "luckily" (??) the number was only 46. :-) It definitely feels like a 68 when even the pregnant tops are too small!
We are just so appreciative of how much everyone has helped us prepare and get things for this baby. We couldn't have done it without the love and help from our family and friends. We are so blessed! Thank you!!
