This last week has been a difficult one for the Jenson and McElhaney family due to the sudden death of Cheri's sister, Cassandra. Cassandra was Mike's aunt, but they were actually the same age; she being only 6 months older. They grew up together and spent many days playing together, cooking frozen burritos, going to Reams for 10 cent candy, and pulling their money together to buy one big pickle at the movie theater. We all have many happy memories to remember and celebrate her life.

Cassandra has been sick for years, and especially within the last year her health has worsen, but no one expected her to leave us so soon. The hardest part is that Cassandra left behind 3 children under 7. They have handled the loss well, and the family has really pulled together to take care of them. The funeral service was beautiful and many blessings came in from loved ones and the church. We are just blown away by the miracles and love that have been shown.

Cassandra Rose McElhaney White 1982 ~ 2008 Cassandra has returned home to her Heavenly Father after a long illness. She is leaving three beautiful children Kiera, 7, Kaily, 4 and Brian, Jr. 2. Everyone who met her loved her. She will be missed by everyone. She is preceded in death by her mother; and survived by her husband, Brian; and father, Joe; sisters, Debbie, Cheri, Desiree, Clarissa; and brothers Randy and Joe. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 12:00 noon at the West Brook 2nd Ward Chapel, 6500 S. Dixie Drive (3710 W), West Jordan, Utah. Friends may call on Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. or Wednesday from 11:00-11:45 a.m. at the same church. In place of flowers, contributions for the children can be made at any Wells Fargo Bank for the children in memory of Cassandra Rose McElhaney White.
