What a great weekend! We started Friday night off with the Lightstream Christmas party at Spencers. It was the best food ever and we were so full after wards, but it was so fun seeing everyone and having a night off. The next morning Mike went snowboarding for the first time of the season on Saturday with his brothers, Andy & Dan, and his friend Russ. It was a crazy day with a TON of snow, and there wasn't a ton of snow yet, but they had a blast even though they came back frozen to the bone.

On Sunday we finished putting up a few more Christmas decorations and decided to make sugar cookies. We are planning to give them to our neighbors, but we'll have to see if any of them make it out. :-) Carter kind of liked helping cut out the shapes, but it didn't hold his attention for too long, and pretty quick he was a tired, covered in flour little boy.

After a quick change we had our good friends, James and Kelly, over for dinner. They surprised us with the best Christmas present ever! Kelly watches Carter on Tuesday, and a few weeks ago Kelly called Christina to tell her she had bought him some new clothes for Christmas. WELL, come to find out she not only bought him clothes, but took him to get some professional photos done for us for Christmas!! She not only took them, but then she printed out a bunch and framed them for us!
It melted our hearts to see so many precious photos of our little boy, and brought tears to our eyes for the friendship and love of our dear friends.
Just a quick story...the one of Carter kissing the monkey on the right was totally impromptu! They were trying to get Carter to sit on the chair so they put the monkey there to show him how, and he just walked up and kissed the monkey. :-) We found that monkey at DI and it truly has been the best dollar we've ever spent. We love you so much Carter!!
